Tyrrell Goes the Extra MIle

6th and 8th grade students completed the mile run at the Wolcott High School track on October 15th, October 16th, and October 22nd. The purpose of the mile run is to measure cardiorespiratory endurance. The mile run is one of four health related components of physical fitness. The health-related components of physical fitness are flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and cardiorespiratory endurance.
